You must realized that the pastel snack bar on the corner of the street where you live now is a Chinese owner or maybe just moved on to same street as yours an American that goes every night to buy a snack on yours uncle´s hot-dog also maybe your new boss never talk to you because your language is completely different one from another; so we can realize here that the world has open arms and many ways… that means INTERCULTURAL, I mean the relationship among different culture is happening close to you.. it is not a Metropolis happening… the countryside you used to live slowly, calm , and peacefully offers interests that you never could imagine, and foreigners now are your next door!!!
My job here is to adapt the expat in the shelter country assisting his family and him the best way avoiding the usual impact between different culture countries what can becomes a disaster to the success of the arrival company/expat!

Continuando a minha história com interculturalidade ainda em São Paulo conheci Mirha, nascida na Bósnia Herzegovina e que cresceu na Holanda e me pediu para ir com ela comprar algumas lembranças para seus amigos, onde numa lanchonete ela me contou sua história na guerra da Bósnia e como fugiu para a Holanda deixando sua familia para trás, nem precisa dizer que foi comovente o suficiente para derramarmos lágrimas e mais lágrimas e que esse fato nos manteve em contato por um longo tempo... Como tristezas e alegrias fazem parte da história de todos nós, acessorar estrangeiros tiveram também momentos engraçados como quando precisei levar um estrangeiro ao aeroporto para que fosse embarcar para uma plataforma de petroleo e havia esquecido "the hose"; eu ainda com meu ingles de iniciante questionei cá com meus botões "porque raios ele quer embarcar com uma rosa???"... ele disse "I need the Hose", eu pensei gente essa rosa deve ser algo muito importante... bem o fato é que depois de algumas confusões devido a lingua tudo ficou esclarecido e o trabalho de ambos foi realizado...
Alguns estrangeiros chegam no Brasil com uma idéia diferente e muitas vezes errônea de nossa realidade, cabe ao interlocutor desse polo cultural desmistificar e demonstrar a beleza e a grandeza de um país em vias de desenvolvimento.
Tratar bem a um estrangeiro e ser bem tratado no exterior é estar aberto para o mundo e consequentemente estar aberto a oportunidades de crescimento e desenvolvimento no âmbito mundial e acredite... isso é muito facil, isso é interculturalidade!!
